Youth policy carried out by our country plays a significant role in youth for being shaped as a modern, developed, highly intellectual leading power. The young generation is forming with high intellect, sense of patriotism, national thought, as a result of purposeful policy of President of Azerbaijan Republic Ilham Aliyev. The care and attention of the government raises the belief of Azerbaijani youth to himself/herself, his/her power and talent. Our youth elevates reputation of the country in international Olympiads, sports competitions. Sumgayit State University is successfully represented in contests, Olympiads and competitions, organized by Ministry of Education. On October 20, II play of 1/8 stage of Azerbaijan Regional Cheerful and Witty Club TV League was held in Opera hall of Azerbaijan National Conservatory, which is carried out among higher education institutions in 2018/2019 academic year by organization of Ministry of Education. The play aimed to teach the students to perform as a team in a stage, to keep alive CWC traditions and reveal their creative potential in this direction. 8 teams from different universities participated in the League. Sumgayit State University was represented with “Subaylar” team in the contest. Their sketch was welcomed by the audience. Our team was awarded with diploma for successful performance and qualified to next stage.
