THE DEPARTMENT OF INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION AND INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS
Department of International Relations of Sumgayit State University was established on 09.06.2001.
On 19.05.2014, the International Relations Department was renamed the International Cooperation Department.
Since 17.12.2019, the Department of International Cooperation and the Department of Foreign Students have been merged and operate under the name of the Department of International Cooperation and International Students.
Fatullayeva Sadagat Abdul gizi leads the Department.
Sumgait State University carries out international cooperation within the international projects and agreements signed with the universities of Turkey, Russia, Iran, USA, England, Germany, France, Austria, Hungary, Spain, Greece, Poland, Ukraine, Israel, Kirgizstan, Kazakhstan and Tajikistan.
Participation in international associations
Sumgayit State University is a member of Association of Azerbaijani-Russian Universities and Association of Universities of Caspian states. The co-chair of the Association of Azerbaijani-Russian Universities is rector of Sumgayit State University Professor E.B.Huseynov.
