92 percent of polling stations – 5201 polling stations on 125 polling places reported the results in presidential election which was held on April 11. Chairman of Azerbaijan’s Central Election Commission (CEC) Mazahir Panahov noted it in press conference held on that day. He notified that, 3723278 bulletins were counted and the results were: Ilham Aliyev-86 percent, Qudrat Hasanguliyev – 3.04 percent, Sardar Jalaloglu – 3.02 percent, Zahid Oruj- 3.11 percent, Hafiz Hajiyev – 1.51 percent, Araz Alizade – 1.39 percent, Faraj Quliyev – 1.18 percent and Razi Nurullayev – 0.75 percent.
It should be noted that, 3959553 voters out of 5314365 voted in presidential election; voter turnout was 74.51 percent.
