In Azerbaijan Student Youth Organizations Union a meeting was held with chairmen of Student Youth Organizations (SYO) of high and secondary vocational educational institutions of Baki and regions. In a meeting held with the leadership of deputy of Milli Majlis, chairman of SYO Shahin Ismayilov improvement of SYO structures and several projects were discussed.
Then, activities of SYO operating in Baki and regions during February were estimated and awards in nomination of “Student Youth Organization of a Month” were presented. Sumgayit State University was a winner of the month for its activity in February. 
SYO of SSU began to function in 2005. Since its first day it has been working for youth policy management in public, political, social cultural and economic life of the republic. For realizing this aim SYO regularly holds educative works, scientific conferences and seminars, symposiums, roundtables etc. among students. With the leadership of chairman of SYO Nijat Huseynov talented and creative students are revealed and students’ free time is properly organized.
