On January 25, Professor ElkhanHuseynov, the Rector of Sumgayit State University, docent NatigTalibov, vice rector forTeaching organization and training technologies, docent RamizHuseynov, vice-rector for Humanitarian issues, docent GafarAtayev, vice-rector for Correspondence, distant and extra education, NaibHajiyev, vice-rector for Economic issues, docent IsabalGurbanov, chairman of Teaching Methodical Centre and Faculty deans observed exam process held in the Faculties of Philology, Mathematics, Economy and management, History and geography and Engineering. 
The rector cared about students’ problems and notified that, all conditions are created for holding the exams objectively. So, Operative headquarters and “Hotline” are functioning in the University. The students disagreeing with their marks could appeal to appellation commission with application. For running public control to the activity of SSU, also for informing the community about transparency of exam session, Public Control and Advisory Board was set up under the Rectorate of the University. 
The Rector’s care to the students with high total results in semester is highly appreciatedby students.
The students expressed their satisfaction for created circumstances.
Exam session of autumn semester began on December 29 and will continue till February 2. Exam session is run on full-time department of 7 faculties. The rector regularly controls the exams personally. In recent weeks the Rector watched the exam process with the members of Public Control and Advisory Board, parents, the members of nongovernmental organizations and media.
