Our university cooperates with several advanced high schools for development of international relations. Representatives of our university are frequently on business trips and share experiences.
From November 20 to 24 a meeting was held in Gazi University in the framework of ERASMUS + PETRA project. Vice-rector of Gazi University Yashar Aydemir, heads of faculties, lecturers, as well as project coordinator Polytechnic University of Valencia and representatives of Debrecen University of Hungary and Azerbaijani educational institutions participated in the meeting. In Gazi University, in the framework of ERASMUS + PETRA project our university was represented by Natig Talibov, vice-rector for teaching and learning technologies, docent Ulduz Aghayev, dean of engineering faculty, Samira Mammadova, methodologist of International Cooperation Department.
During the training the guests were acquainted with rectorate of Gazi University, chemistry and biology laboratories, education faculty and university library; the trainings continued in the International projects department and Quality control department. Professor Selma Yel gave broad information to participants about international projects and exchange programs. The meeting proceeded with discussions. Docents of Gazi University Sherifnaz Karabagh, Salih Shahin, assistant Volkan Damli introduced broad information about new methods for improvement of teaching quality, teaching history classes through drama and delivering geography lessons outside the university with experimental character. Gazi University was established in 1926 by Mustafa Kamal Ataturk. The university has nearly 80 thousand students, 20 faculties, 56 scientific laboratories, 7 institutes and a music conservatory.
In the framework of cultural relations the guests visited Turkish Parliament and Ataturk Museum.
