As we know, every year on October 31, children and teenagers happily celebrate Halloween in the USA, Great Britain and Ireland. The holiday has ancient history. The word Halloween is mainly found as All-Hallows-Even (even-evening) used by Scottish people in 16th century. It is also considered as pumpkins’ holiday.
In the event students sang various songs, told poems and played various funny games. Each winner got sweets.
In the competition of “Best decorated pumpkin” it was impossible to determine the winner because every pumpkin was decorated tastefully. It should be noted that it was the first event held by freshmen.
