The “Open Days” days organized at Sumgayit State University (SSU) in order to guide applicants correctly when choosing higher education have ended. Since April 9, a series of meetings have been organized at the university for senior students of secondary schools located in Sumgayit city. Within the framework of the meeting, students were informed about the educational opportunities of the university, faculties and specialties, as well as international cooperation. In order to get acquainted with the university, they visited the Heydar Aliyev Center, various faculties, auditoriums and laboratories, as well as the Library-Information Center. In addition, students got acquainted with the chess board, artificial turf football, volleyball and basketball fields, board game corners, “Student House” and the open-air Museum of Education created on the territory of the university for the effective organization of students" leisure time. It was noted that amateur dance and recitation clubs, as well as a debate and public speaking club, operate at the university. In addition, competitions are regularly organized in various sports (chess, football, badminton, table tennis, equestrianism, fencing, etc.). In the end, school representatives expressed their gratitude to the university administration for the high-level organization of the traditionally held "Open Days".
