On April 8, students studying in the biology teaching specialty group 374 of the Faculty of Natural Sciences visited the Veterinary Scientific Research Institute under the leadership of Aysel Agayeva, the senior lecturer of the Biology Department. The students got acquainted with the departments of bird diseases, parasitology, virology and immunology, and fish and bee diseases. The director of the institute, associate professor Siyala Rustamova, and the deputy director, associate professor Sahman Bayramov, welcomed the students and provided them with detailed information about the Institute and introduced them to the research work carried out in the laboratories. The students also visited the Veterinary Clinic operating under the institute. Here, they got acquainted with the quarantine, inpatient, therapy, toxicology, dermatology, ophthalmology, surgery, USM, X-ray, and biochemistry laboratories designed for animals and equipped with the latest equipment, and watched the process of examination and treatment of animals.
