A scientist from Sumgayit State University spoke at the plenary session of an international conference
On April 8, a representative of Sumgayit State University successfully participated in the international scientific and practical conference of young scientists entitled "Youth and Science: Today and the Future" held in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The international conference was organized by Atyrau State University named after Khalel Dosmukhamedov and brought together scientists, researchers and representatives of higher education institutions from different countries. Head of the Department of Energy of the university, Doctor of Philosophy in Physics, Associate Professor Khayala Aliguliyeva made a report at the plenary session of the conference. She made a presentation on the topic “Physical properties of the anomalous Hall effect in magnetic topological insulators” at the plenary session. The report specifically emphasized the electron transport processes in magnetic topological insulator materials, the fundamental physical mechanisms of the anomalous Hall effect, and the application possibilities of this new generation of quantum materials in the energy sector. It was noted that these materials are considered promising scientific directions for increasing the efficiency of energy conversion systems, minimizing energy losses, creating low-energy electronic and spintronic devices, and developing future smart energy systems and quantum technologies. The report presented at the plenary session was met with interest by the international scientific community, and extensive discussions were held on the integration of the fields of physics, materials science, and energy. The participation of Sumgayit State University scientists in plenary sessions of international conferences demonstrates that the scientific research conducted at the university is aimed at solving urgent energy problems and that the international scientific reputation of the university is increasing.
