On April 8, an informative seminar dedicated to the ACCA Program and Educational Opportunities was held at the Faculty of Economics and Management of Sumgayit State University (SSU) at the initiative of Imza Group. Opening the seminar, the Dean of the Faculty, Associate Professor Logman Abdullayev emphasized the importance of such initiatives in the professional development of young people. He called on the participants to make the most of international certificate programs and noted that ACCA is one of the most widespread professional associations worldwide. Within the framework of the event, the project manager Gunay Guliyeva informed the participants about creating an ACCA account, the process of registering for exams, preparation strategies, teaching formats and existing discounts. She also explained the structure and stages of the ACCA qualification and said that the program consists of Fundamentals (Knowledge and Skills) and Professional (Essentials and Options) levels, providing participants with both theoretical knowledge and practical skills. Then, ACCA trainer, head of financial reporting in the oil and gas sector Elay Rajabli spoke and provided information about the program's advantages and career opportunities. He emphasized that the “Self-Study” approach enhances personal development, and proper planning and discipline are the main conditions for success. It was noted that the Knowledge (F1–F3) modules provide fundamental knowledge in financial and management accounting, business basics, Skills (F4–F9) modules provide practical skills in the fields of law, taxation, auditing and financial reporting, and at the Professional level, the Essentials (P1–P3) and Options (P4–P7) modules provide in-depth knowledge in strategic thinking, risk management and specialization. The seminar continued with a question-and-answer session.
