Sumgayit State University has expanded its international cooperation relations and signed memorandums of understanding with a number of prestigious higher education institutions within the framework of the II Rectors' Forum of Higher Education Institutions of Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan, held in Almaty, Kazakhstan on April 6. The forum served as an important platform for deepening partnership in the field of higher education and science between the two countries, expanding academic exchange and joint scientific and research activities. Representatives of relevant state bodies, university rectors and representatives of the academic community of both countries attended the event. In this context, Sumgayit State University has signed memorandums of understanding with a number of leading higher education institutions of Kazakhstan. These cooperations include Yessenov Khazar State University of Technology and Engineering, Abilgas Saginov Karaganda Technical University, Rudny Industrial Institute, Manash Kozybayev North Kazakhstan University and Abilay Khan Kazakh University of International Relations and World Languages. The memorandums signed by the acting rector of Sumgayit State University, corresponding member of ANAS Aminaga Sadigov are of great importance in terms of expanding the university's international relations and increasing cooperation opportunities. The documents cover priority areas such as student and teacher exchange, organization of joint educational programs, development of cooperation in the field of scientific research and implementation of international projects. It should be noted that within the framework of the forum, it is planned to sign numerous cooperation documents between Azerbaijani and Kazakh universities, which will serve to strengthen integration in the field of higher education and form a common academic space. Active participation of Sumgayit State University in this platform and establishment of new partnerships is of great importance in terms of increasing the international reputation of the higher education institution, integrating it into global academic networks and creating new opportunities for students.
