On April 7, an infosession was held at Sumgayit State University (SSU) organized by the “AIESEC Azerbaijan” Student Trade Union Committee. The event, moderated by a 3rd year student of the Mathematics Faculty of SSU, Ilaha Gadimova and the Chairwoman of the Sumgayit City Branch of “AIESEC Azerbaijan”, first discussed the necessity of establishing an international organization and the factors determining its development. Emphasizing that AIESEC is a global youth organization that seeks to instill leadership qualities and the will to achieve the realization of one’s potential in young people by benefiting from practical experiences in a difficult environment, the moderator provided information about the organization’s areas of activity, international programs, and the process of joining the organization. Other speakers during the infosession emphasized that the organization, which operates in about 130 countries around the world, has been operating in Azerbaijan since 2006, and that thousands of young people, including students, have had the opportunity to undergo international internships through various programs offered by the Organization. The infosession continued with discussions in which the audience joined.
