SSU students successfully participated in the "Bootcamp" program dedicated to the application of artificial intelligence in the agricultural sector in Jalilabad
The first “Bootcamp” program of this year was held at the Jalilabad State Vocational Education Center, jointly organized by the Agrarian Innovation Center of the Ministry of Agriculture, the State Agency for Vocational Education of the Ministry of Science and Education, and the State Employment Agency under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population. The “Bootcamp” event is attended by about 20 higher education institutions of the country, 40 startups from the Jalilabad State Vocational Education Center. Within the framework of the program, presentations were held for the participants by Acceleration and Incubation Centers, as well as companies operating in the agricultural sector. At the same time, info tours were organized to modern farms and enterprises located in the Jalilabad district, and the program participants were given the opportunity to study innovative solutions in agriculture in a real environment, get acquainted with technological innovations on the spot, and gain experience. This prestigious startup exhibition was attended by startups from the Innovation and Creativity Center of Sumgayit State University, 2nd year students of the Process Automation Engineering specialty of the Faculty of Engineering, Baghirov Rashid and Ahmadov Aydin. The construction and software of the “Mobile Canal Water Purification Device” project presented at this exhibition aroused great interest at the exhibition. While explaining the project at the exhibition, SSU students answered the questions of the Minister of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Emin Amrullayev, and the Director of the Agrarian Innovation Center of the Ministry of Agriculture, Anar Jafarov.
