The “Novruz Cup” regional futsal tournament among students of higher and secondary specialized educational institutions has concluded. The tournament is organized by the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Public Union of the Azerbaijan Student Football Federation, and with the support of the Association of Football Federations of Azerbaijan. It should be noted that in the games organized at the Shirvan State College of Economics and Humanities in the southern region, teams from Sumgayit State University, Lankaran State University, Shamakhi State Regional College, Shirvan State College of Economics and Humanities, Lankaran State College of Humanities, and Goychay State College of Management and Technology competed. Based on the results of the games, the Sumgayit State University team was awarded 1st place. On March 6, acting rector of Sumgayit State University, corresponding member of ANAS, Aminaga Sadigov received the team and congratulated them on their victory.
