On March 5, Sumgayit State University (SSU) organized a meeting with martyred family members of the university on the occasion of March 8 - International Women's Day. Acting Rector of SSU, Corresponding Member of ANAS Aminaga Sadigov spoke at the meeting, greeted the martyred family members and congratulated them on the holiday. He emphasized that the role and work of women in society are undeniable and noted that women occupy a special place in the family and social life. In his speech, A. Sadigov spoke about the greatness of maternal love, the endless love of a woman for her child, and noted that the Azerbaijani people have historically treated women, mothers and sisters with great respect. Aminaga Sadigov also drew attention to the fact that family values ​​​​are of special importance in Azerbaijani society, and that a healthy and strong family institution plays an important role in protecting national and spiritual values. A.Sadigov noted in his speech that one of the most sacred names for the Azerbaijani people is the name of martyr, and the memory of the heroes who sacrificed their lives for the Motherland is always held high. He emphasized that the attention and care shown by the state to the families of martyrs is of particular importance. At the end of the event, gifts were presented to the family members of the martyrs on the occasion of the holiday and commemorative photos were taken.
