On March 3, a meeting with students was held at Sumgayit State University with the participation of representatives of the Holberton School Azerbaijan, organized by the Career and Alumni Center. The event was organized within the framework of the existing cooperation between Sumgayit State University and “Holberton School Azerbaijan” to provide university students with opportunities to enroll in fully-funded international education programs in the field of technology. Director of the Career and Alumni Center, Anar Dunyamaliyev opened the meeting and said that the career development of students is always in the spotlight at the university. He emphasized that international partnerships make a significant contribution to the acquisition of skills relevant to the labor market by young people, and evaluated the scholarship programs offered in the field of technology as an important opportunity for students and called on them to actively take advantage of these opportunities. Then, CEO of “Holberton School Azerbaijan”, Shamsi Bayramzade made a speech and stated that the educational model he leads is based on a practical and innovative approach. He noted that the programs aim to work on real projects, develop team skills and train specialists who meet the requirements of the international labor market. Sh.Bayramzade noted that the programs offered on a fully-funded basis create ample opportunities for students to receive high-quality technological education, and this cooperation will be further expanded in the future. During the meeting, detailed information was provided about full scholarship programs in the areas of “Computer Science”, “Full Stack Development”, “Python”. At the end of the event, the director of the Teaching Methodological Center, associate professor Elnara Mammadova and mentor Ruslan Hamidov made speeches and expressed their gratitude to the organizers and guests.
