On March 2, a meeting on the topic "Energy issues of cities and solution models: Sumgayit experience" was held at Sumgayit State University, at the initiative of Sumgayit High Voltage Electric Network LLC. He said that the rapid technological innovations and modern approaches taking place in the energy sector further increase the future career opportunities of young people and create conditions for them to enter the labor market more preparedly. Then, Advisor to the Rector, Professor Tamilla Ahmadova spoke about the importance of saving electricity, emphasizing that efficient energy use is essential for sustainable development, both economically and environmentally. In his speech, Senior Engineer of Sumgayit High Voltage Electric Network, Azer Mehdikhanli emphasized that reliable energy supply is one of the main factors in the sustainable development of cities. He provided information on the work being done in Sumgayit to renew the electrical infrastructure, modernize substations, reduce energy losses, and implement "smart grid" technologies. The meeting continued in an interactive format, and questions of interest to the students were answered.
