On February 19, a seminar on "International teacher exchange: Kazakhstan experience" was held at the Faculty of Mathematics of Sumgayit State University (SSU) organized by the Department of "Mathematical Analysis and Differential Equations".
The head of the department, associate professor Khayala Seyfullayeva opened the seminar and provided information about the teacher exchange project implemented between SSU and Atyrau University in Kazakhstan.
Dean of the faculty, associate professor Khalida Hasanova noted that the projects are implemented jointly with various higher education institutions around the world. She expressed her gratitude to the Acting Rector of SSU, Corresponding Member of ANAS Aminaga Sadigov emphasizing that such events would be useful in terms of experience exchange.
A teacher, Leyla Nasirova presented a report on the lectures, workshops and scientific seminars she conducted at Atyrau University. She reported that she participated in various academic and cultural events, got acquainted with the university"s material and technical base and campus. At the same time, she emphasized that the familiarization meetings held during the mission were useful for future cooperation.
Head of the International Cooperation and Strategic Projects Department, Aysel Eminova provided information about cooperation mechanisms with foreign universities, exchange programs and grant opportunities.
Director of the Teaching Methodological Center, Associate Professor Elnara Mammadova emphasized the practical importance of the report, noted the importance of applying the acquired international experience in the educational process at SSU, and stated that this experience will make a significant contribution to enriching the teaching methodology at the faculty and improving the quality of students" learning.
The seminar was held in an atmosphere of mutual exchange of views and showed the importance of international cooperation for educational and scientific work.
