On February 4, a bilateral meeting was held between the Uzbekistan State University of World Languages and Sumgayit State University (SSU). the acting rector of SSU, corresponding member of ANAS Aminaga Sadigov welcomed the guests, emphasized that the strategic partnership between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan has been further strengthened in recent years, and this positive dynamic has created broad opportunities for cooperation in the field of science and higher education. He especially noted the importance of developing inter-university relations within the framework of academic exchange, joint scientific-research projects and international programs.
The rector of the Uzbekistan State University of World Languages, Ilhomjon Tukhtasinov expressed his gratitude for the high level of hospitality. He provided detailed information about the activities of the university he leads, educational programs, existing material and technical base, international relations and scholarship opportunities created for students. The rector noted that the establishment of cooperation between the two universities would be beneficial for both parties, especially in terms of teacher and student exchange, as well as joint scientific and academic projects.
Within the framework of the meeting, a cooperation agreement was signed between Sumgayit State University and the Uzbekistan State University of World Languages.
Finally, the guests got acquainted with the Heydar Aliyev Center of SSU and received detailed information about the life and rich political activities of the national leader Heydar Aliyev.
