Our employees successfully participated in the “Researcher Connect Online” program
Senior lecturer of the Department of History of Azerbaijan and Eastern European Peoples of the Faculty of History and Geography of Sumgayit State University, Aysel Shamilova, and lecturer of the Department of Philosophy, Sociology and Political Science, Lala Gurbanova successfully participated in the international "Researcher Connect Online" training program organized by the British Council. The main goal of the program, which took place from December 8 to 18, was to develop researchers" skills in effectively presenting their scientific research, increase academic literacy, and support the establishment of international professional networks. 30 researchers selected from various higher education and research institutions representing Azerbaijan participated in the trainings. A certificate presentation ceremony was held at the Residence of the British Ambassador to Azerbaijan to mark the successful completion of the first edition of the “Researcher Connect Online” programme. Programme participants attended a special reception hosted by the British Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Republic of Azerbaijan, Mr. Fergus Auld. The event was also attended by the British Council Country Director, Ms. Nargiz Hajiyeva. A certificate presentation ceremony was held at the Residence of the British Ambassador to Azerbaijan to mark the successful completion of the first edition of the “Researcher Connect Online” programme. Throughout the programme, participants were guided by experienced UK trainers Sandy (Dicks) Sparks and Stella Mascarenhas-Keyes, whose professional knowledge and support were of particular importance.
