On December 29, assistant to the president of the UNESCO Gansu Provincial Association, Song Guangxiao conducted an interview with SSU acting rector, corresponding member of ANAS, Aminaga Sadigov at Sumgayit State University (SSU).
The interview was dedicated to the topic of “Deepening China-Azerbaijan educational cooperation and developing high-quality international exchange”. It should be noted that the interview will be published in the journals “Gansu UNESCO” and “China UNESCO”, as well as in the official publication of the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China. During the interview, Aminaga Sadigov provided detailed information on SSU’s internationalization strategy, cooperation with foreign higher education institutions, especially partnerships established with Chinese universities. He spoke about the projects implemented at SSU to form an international educational environment and expand scientific-research and innovation-oriented cooperation. In his interview, Aminaga Sadigov emphasized that teacher and student exchange programs, joint scientific research, cultural and language exchange play an important role in improving the quality of higher education. He noted that such international cooperation makes a significant contribution to the integration of the university into the global scientific space, as well as to the training of competitive personnel. The current state of China-Azerbaijan educational relations, future development prospects and the impact of this cooperation on the institutional development of SSU were also in the spotlight during the interview. The parties discussed the possibilities of deepening cooperation in areas of mutual interest and implementing new initiatives.
