Seminar entitled “One Teacher – One Student”
On December 22, the second scientific seminar in the series of seminars entitled “One Teacher – One Student” was held, organized by the Department of Mathematical Analysis and Differential Equations.
Head of the Department of Mathematical Analysis and Differential Equations, Associate Professor Khayala Seyfullayeva opened the seminar, stated that scientific seminars held in this format are an effective academic model that strengthens an individual approach in higher education and serves to reveal scientific potential. These seminars create multifaceted advantages for both teachers and students.
The report prepared under the guidance of the scientific supervisor, Associate Professor Khalil Aliyev, was presented by a third-year student of the Faculty of Mathematics, Guldeste Mammadova. She presented the results of her research on the topic “Decision-making deviations in probability theory”. She answered the questions of teachers and students.
Then, the Director of the Teaching Methodological Center, Doctor of Philosophy in Economics Elnara Mammadova, Dean of the Faculty of Mathematics, Associate Professor Khalida Hasanova and other teachers also spoke, emphasizing the importance of such seminars in terms of developing students" scientific research skills and creating a quality scientific environment among them.
