On December 16–17, 2025, Acting Rector of Sumgayit State University (SSU), corresponding member of ANAS, Professor Aminaga Sadigov participated in the NASCO XXVIII International Conference dedicated to the research activities of doctoral students and young researchers, hosted by Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU). The NASCO conference, traditionally organized every year, is a prestigious scientific platform that promotes scientific exchange among doctoral students and young researchers working in various higher education institutions and research centers of the country, as well as Azerbaijani scientists working abroad. The conference is of great importance in terms of stimulating the scientific creativity of young scientists, supporting their professional development, and discussing new ideas in various scientific directions. Within the framework of the event, Acting Rector of SSU, Aminaga Sadigov got acquainted with the educational and scientific infrastructure of ASOIU, visited the modern laboratories of the university, and received information about the conducted scientific and research work and innovative approaches. During the meetings, the importance of expanding scientific cooperation between higher education institutions, joint research initiatives and academic exchanges was emphasized. A Memorandum on cooperation between Sumgayit State University and Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University was signed within the framework of the conference. The memorandum envisages the implementation of joint projects in the field of research, strengthening academic cooperation between doctoral students and young researchers, joint organization of scientific conferences and seminars, as well as expanding mutual exchange of experience.
