At the initiative of the head of the Department of Energy of Sumgayit State University, associate professor Khayala Aliguliyeva, 4th year students completed their graduation work based on real industrial projects.
The graduation work was carried out under the guidance of experienced engineers working in the industry. The main goal of the initiative is to train graduates as knowledgeable and professional personnel who meet the requirements of the energy sector. Within the framework of the project, students participated in an “On-grid” project on 150 kW solar PV systems. At the same time, they became closely acquainted with modern energy technologies and carried out real work processes in the field. This approach ensures a more solid formation of students' knowledge and skills, creates conditions for their adaptation to a real production environment in a short time, and allows them to enter the labor market as ready, competitive specialists after graduation.
