On December 12, an educational training on the topic “From Student to Researcher” was organized by the Career and Alumni Work Center of Sumgayit State University. Director of the Career and Alumni Center, Anar Dunyamaliyev, and the Director of the Teaching and Methodological Center, doctor of philosophy in economics, Elnara Mammadova opened the training and they spoke about the importance of involving students in scientific and research activities. They emphasized that in the modern labor market, analytical thinking, research skills and an innovative approach play a special role in the future career of students. Then, a teacher at the Faculty of Natural Sciences, Aynura Mustafayeva spoke and provided information about the principles of correct data verification, thinking skills, group work and academic integrity. During the interactive training, Aynura Mustafayeva gave tasks to the students and listened to their opinions. At the end, the trainer answered the students' questions and gave them useful recommendations on conducting research.
