Sumgayit State University (SSU) started accepting applications from foreigners for the spring semester of the 2025/2026 academic year
Sumgayit State University started accepting foreign citizens who wish to study in a 6-month preparatory course for the 2025/2026 academic year. Foreign citizens must register on the official electronic platform https://portal.edu.az/ to study at SSU. The applicant attaches a scanned copy of the following documents via the portal:
· Copy of passport (the passport must be valid for at least 1 year);
· Health certificate, including an official document confirming that the applicant is not a carrier of HIV, Hepatitis B and C;
· A copy of the previous educational qualification and its transcript (documents obtained abroad must be apostilled and notarized with an official translation into Azerbaijani);

Note: The tuition fee for the 6-month preparatory course is USD 500.
