As we reported, the delegation of Sumgayit State University (SSU) participated in the "QS Eurasia Forum 2025" event organized by the QS International Ranking Agency and hosted by the University of Central Asia, as part of its visit to the Republic of Uzbekistan on November 25-26. During the forum, an official certificate was presented to the acting rector of SSU, corresponding member of ANAS, Professor Aminaga Sadigov based on the results obtained in the "QS Stars" audit assessment of SSU. It should be noted that more than 700 higher education institutions from more than 70 countries around the world participate in the QS Stars assessment, and this process allows us to measure the performance of universities based on various criteria. Sumgayit State University, which was evaluated in a total of 9 categories, achieved significant success, achieving 5 stars — excellent results — in the Teaching and Good Governance categories, and was rated at 3 stars overall. The QS Stars program is a system that allows higher education institutions to objectively demonstrate their strengths in terms of teaching quality, scientific activity, management, infrastructure, internationalization and other strategic directions on a global scale. This success achieved by SSU once again confirms that educational environment, management model and institutional development strategy of the university are formed in accordance with international standards.
