A delegation of Malaysian leading higher education institutions held an extensive info session for students at Sumgayit State University (SSU) as part of the Malaysian Education Fair to be held On November 29-30.
Representatives of Putra Malaysia University, Taylor’s University, SEGi University, Sunway University attended at the meeting. Head of the International Cooperation and Strategic Projects Department, Aysel Eminova opened the event and spoke about the purpose and significance of the info session. Then, representatives of the universities gave a speech and provided information about academic programs of the universities they represent, their international cooperation models, learning environment, opportunities on student life and global career perspectives. They also presented on the advantages of the Malaysian higher education system, especially technology-oriented teaching models and practical approaches integrated with industry. Director of the Lingua Training Center, Fidan Bagirova informed the students about various scholarship programs in Malaysia, state and university grants, application requirements and selection criteria. It was emphasized that scholarship opportunities create an important opportunity for students to embark on an international education path. The event continued interactively, answering numerous questions from students, and exchanging views on academic exchange, practical internship programs and future cooperation directions.
