On November 26, a delegation of Sumgayit State University (SSU) visited the National University of Uzbekistan named after Mirzo Ulugbek situated in Tashkent within the framework of a visit to Uzbekistan. At the meeting, with the participation of administrative officials, acting rector of Sumgayit State University, corresponding member of ANAS, professor Aminaga Sadigov emphasized that the current cooperation between our universities is being continued successfully in science and education sphere and this cooperation opens up new perspectives for our universities. He provided extensive information about the history, infrastructure, available teaching opportunities, green campus of SSU, activities implementing in the direction of sustainable development goals and international ranking indicators. He noted the importance of opportunities and advantages come with bilateral cooperation between the universities. Administration of the National University of Uzbekistan named after Mirzo Ulugbek thanked to the delegation of SSU for the visit. They noted that this cooperation will make a necessary contribution for the student-teacher exchange, joint scientific researches and the implementation of projects. Then, a memorandum of bilateral cooperation was signed between the universities.
