At the event, Acting Rector of the university, Corresponding Member of ANAS, Aminaga Sadigov welcomed the guests. He spoke about the long live and efficient cooperation between Sumgayit State University (SSU) and "Qartal” construction company. He noted that students of SSU are involved in the internship programs on various project at the company, enlarging their knowledge and skills in real-world work environment by observing the large-scale construction and engineering process on site. Aminaga Sadigov emphasized that this cooperation has made a great contribution to the students’ future professional development. Then Director of the “Qartal” construction company, Shahin Mammadov made a speech with a presentation. He gave extensive information about the activities of the company, large state projects that implemented, modern approaches applied in engineering and construction fields. Video clip of the company has been demonstrated. Shahin Mammadov stated that participation of the students in real-world work process plays an important role in their formation as a professional specialist. During the meeting, agreements were also reached on a new stage of cooperation. A decision has been made to accept students from the Engineering Faculty of SSU to the internship program at the “Qartal” construction company in the next stage, as well as the scolarship will be provided for students by the company.
