On November 12–13, 2025, the 1st International Finance, Accounting, Audit and Digitalization Symposium (IFAD 2025) will be held at Sumgayit State University (SSU) and Khazar University. The symposium is intended as a scientific and practical platform to discuss current problems, new trends, and global challenges in the fields of finance, accounting, audit, and digitalization. The aim of the event is to share global economic challenges and solutions, promote the exchange of academic and professional knowledge, as well as strengthen cooperation, integration and economic solidarity among the countries of the Turkic world. Representatives from more than 30 prestigious universities in Turkiye and other Turkic-speaking countries are expected to participate in the symposium. The panel discussions will focus on modern financial management, digitalization processes, the application of international standards and other topical topics. The event will be held on November 12 in the assembly hall of Sumgayit State University, and on November 13 in the Marble Hall of Khazar University. The symposium will be organized both live and online. The organizers of the symposium are: Sumgayit State University, Bursa Uludağ University, Khazar University, the Chamber of Auditors of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Small and Medium-sized Business Development Agency (SMBDA), the Confederation of Entrepreneurs of Azerbaijan (CEA), the Public Oversight, Accounting and Auditing Standards Institution of the Republic of Turkiye (AASI), Independent Industrialists and Businessmen Association of Azerbaijan (IIBA) and the Economic Research and Training Center (ERTC). This international scientific platform is of great importance in terms of sharing science, experience and innovative approaches and will contribute to the development of mutual cooperation among the participants.
