A training entitled "From Student to Entrepreneurship" was held at Sumgayit State University (SSU) by the "Assistance to Solving Social Issues" Public Union (PU), organized by the Student Trade Union Committee (STUC). SSU Vice-Rector for Social Affairs and Public Relations, Associate Professor Elmar Khalilov spoke about the importance of the training. He noted that such projects create opportunities for young people to take initiatives to solve social problems and develop leadership skills. Such events serve the personal development of students, as well as their formation as more useful and responsible citizens for society. Chairman of the "Support to the Resolution of Social Issues" PU, Narmin Dashdemirbeyli made a speech and informed the participants about the activities of the union she leads and the projects implemented. She also spoke about the "Seyyar addim" project implemented by the association and talked about the meetings and awareness-raising events organized in various regions within this framework. Then, the trainer, Jahan Hommadova, founder of the "Isharti" company, spoke on the topic "From Student to Entrepreneurship". She spoke about her personal experience and the knowledge and skills she gained in the field of entrepreneurship, sharing motivational moments for the students. She provided practical advice on ways to start an entrepreneurial activity, the challenges encountered, and ways to solve them. At the end of the event, an interesting exchange of views was held with the participants on the topic, questions were answered, and students" views were listened on social entrepreneurship initiatives.
