From September 8 to 13, a summer camp was held at the recreation center "Tehsil", organized by the Republican Committee of the Trade Union of Science and Education Workers, a member of the Azerbaijan Confederation of Trade Unions.
The camp is dedicated to the "Year of Constitution and Sovereignty". Within the framework of the five-day program, conferences, panel discussions, sports competitions and meetings with famous guests were organized for the participants. At the opening of the camp, the National Anthem was played, and the memory of the Great Leader Heydar Aliyev and the martyrs was commemorated with a minute of silence. The meetings with the Hero of the Patriotic War Zaur Huseynov and the director of the film "Shusha, you are free" Javidan Sharifov created great interest and a spirit of patriotism among the participating students, and the young people who were distinguished for their activity during the camp were awarded certificates.
It should be noted that 21 students from Sumgayit State University participated in the camp with the support of the Student Trade Union Committee.
