On July 18, Sumgayit State University (SSU) employees who worked effectively to ensure the institution's place in the QS World University Rankings were awarded certificates of appreciation. Opening the event, the acting rector of the university, corresponding member of ANAS, professor Aminaga Sadigov congratulated the entire staff on the prestigious international ranking of the higher education institution he leads and expressed his gratitude to each employee who contributed to this achievement. In his speech, he also provided information about the implemented state programs, the current status of the university and the priority tasks ahead. He noted that in order to meet the challenges of the modern era, each employee should develop their digital skills in addition to their field of specialization and adapt to technological innovations. Today, being included in the QS World University Rankings places a greater responsibility on the university, and these indicators require continuous action to ensure sustainable development. Professor Aminaga Sadigov added that the university's inclusion in the QS World University Rankings for the first time is a clear indication of its strong scientific and pedagogical potential and purposeful development strategy. He expressed his belief that this achievement will give impetus to greater successes of the university and wished the team continued success. Then, certificates of appreciation were presented to the employees who contributed to the international ranking and a commemorative photo was taken.
