Sumgayit State University engineering students were awarded 2nd place in the international championship

Amin Najafli and Ali Hajiyev, third-year students of the Faculty of Engineering of Sumgayit State University (SSU), achieved significant success in the international “Professionals” skills championship organized by the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation. Our students, who participated in this prestigious competition held in Nizhny Novgorod, showed high results and were awarded 2nd place. It should be noted that in the intense competition held in the championship, which was attended by teams from different countries, Amin Najafli won 2nd place in both the WEB technologies team category and the international category. Ali Hajiyev successfully distinguished himself in the competition by winning 2nd place in the international category.

On June 4, the acting rector of Sumgayit State University, corresponding member of ANAS, professor Aminagha Sadigov received the students who succeeded in the international championship. He congratulated the students on their success and emphasized that they have raised the name of the university and the country high in the international arena. Wishing them success in their future activities, Aminagha Sadigov noted that the university is ready to provide all support to further enhance the professional training of its students.
