Training for teachers of the Philology Faculty by ASAN Innovative Development Center

On May 31, a training was held on “Artificial Intelligence Tools for Teachers” by ASAN Innovative Development Center (AIDC) at the Philology Faculty of Sumgayit State University. The training was presented by AIDC expert Nofal Aliyev. The four-hour training is intended mainly for teachers teaching in the fields of Preschool Education and Primary School Teaching. The event was attended by 20 teachers representing the departments of Language and Literature, Foreign Languages, Pedagogy and Psychology.

During the training, detailed information was provided on the working principles of artificial intelligence, ethical issues that may arise in education, and the possibilities of using artificial intelligence tools in lesson planning and assessment. Also, the methods of preparing practical tasks and interactive websites with these tools were explained to the participants with application examples. At the end of the training, certificates were presented to the participants by ASAN Innovative Development Center.
