On May 30, a conference was held dedicated to the results of pedagogical and production practice at the Faculty of Mathematics of Sumgayit State University. The event was attended by the university administration, teachers, school representatives, methodologists and students. The conference began with the playing of the National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and the dear memory of the martyrs was commemorated with a minute of silence. During the official part of the event, the Dean of the Faculty of Mathematics, Associate Professor Khalida Hasanova and the Head of the Department of Mathematics and Informatics Teaching Technology, Associate Professor Meftun Heydarova made speeches and emphasized the achievements of the students during their pedagogical practice.

During the conference, students studying in various specialties of the faculty made presentations on their 14-week school practices. The speeches of the students selected for each subgroup were listened to, and their practice activities were evaluated by methodologists in the form of reports.

Then, letters of appreciation were presented to students who distinguished themselves in their pedagogical activities. The winners in the nominations “Most Applause Presenter”, “Most Original Presentation Author” and “Student with the Most Emotional Speech” were awarded with honorary certificates. At the end of the conference, in the section “What Did the Experience Give Me?”, students shared their thoughts on the personal development they gained during the internship. At the event, representatives of the schools wished the students success in their future activities.
