The Career and Alumni Work Center of Sumgayit State University continues its training within the framework of the Professional Speakers Series project, organized to support students' preparation for work life. The next training was held on March 14 by Sabirkhan Mahmudov, Supervisor for Oil and Gas Production of the N. Narimanov OGPD of SOCAR Azneft PU, on the topic of “Development and Operation of Oil and Gas Fields”. Students studying in the Petroleum Engineering specialty of the Department of Chemical Engineering and Ecology participated in the training. Speaker Sabirkhan Mahmudov informed the students about the development and operation of oil and gas fields, well construction, selection of development indicators, operation methods, complications occurring in wells, and made a presentation on important aspects of the oil and gas industry, technological processes and innovations in the field. At the end, the speaker answered the students' questions.
