"A Successful Path with Graduates" Project Continues Successfully
On March 17, at Sumgayit State University (SSU), within the framework of the "A Successful Path with Graduates" project, Nurlan Huseynzadeh, a graduate of the Faculty of Natural Sciences and a group leader of the Vocational Classes of the Ministry of Science and Education, held a meeting on the topic of "Preparing a Professional CV". Before Nurlan Huseynzadeh gave information about himself and his activities, in the event the dear memory of his groupmate Mikayil Vahabov who died in the April battles was commemorated. Director of the Career and Alumni Work Center, Nasiba Amirbayova spoke about the purpose and importance of the "A Successful Path with Graduates" project for students to develop their careers. She stated that the purpose of the project is for university graduates to share their experience and successes with current students. In her speech, she touched upon the main points that should be paid attention to when preparing a CV and emphasized that one of the important factors for building a successful and productive career in the business world is a correctly and professionally compiled CV. She stated that a CV should be compiled not only for those who are ready to enter the world of work, but also by high school students and students. Then, Nurlan Huseynzadeh, a graduate of the Faculty of Natural Sciences, group leader of the Vocational Classes of the Ministry of Science and Education, shared his knowledge and experience with the participants on the topic of "Preparing a Professional CV". During the seminar, Nurlan Huseynzadeh provided information on job search strategies, preparing a professional CV, similar and different features of a CV and resume, stages of preparing a CV, correct selection of goals, self-development, interview techniques and the recruitment process of social networks. He presented the participants with current trends in the labor market and useful recommendations for success in this field. The training also provided students with practical tasks and a simulation of the interview process.
