Inter-employee sports competitions organized by the university"s Sports Club and Trade Union Committee have concluded in connection with the "Year of Constitution and Sovereignty" at Sumgayit State University. The competition lasted from February 11 to 13. In the competitions, in which employees of Sumgayit State University and Sumgayit State Technical College participated jointly, employees tested their strength in chess, checkers and table tennis. This event made a great contribution to promoting solidarity and a healthy lifestyle among employees. It should be noted that, according to the overall results, the Faculty of Mathematics took first place in chess, the Faculty of Philology took second place, and the Faculty of History and Geography took third place. In checkers, the Faculty of Natural Sciences took first place, the Faculty of Engineering took second place, and the Faculty of Economics took third place. In table tennis, the Faculty of Natural Sciences took first place, the Faculty of Engineering took second place, and the Faculty of Engineering took third place.
