Sumgayit State University (SSU) staff visited the Alley of Martyrs on the occasion of the 35th anniversary of the January 20 tragedy.

On the day of remembrance, the head of the Sumgayit City Executive Power Zakir Farajov, deputies of the Milli Majlis, employees of law enforcement agencies, Rector of SSU Rufat Azizov, professors, teachers and students, heads of departments, enterprises, organizations, families of martyrs and veterans, and public representatives visited the ‘Victorious Soldier’ monument erected in the Alley of Martyrs and the graves of the heroic sons of our homeland and laid wreaths on them. On the Day of National Mourning, a minute of silence was observed in the city at 12:00, and the memory of our martyrs was deeply remembered.
