The senior teacher of the ‘Chemical Engineering and Ecology’ department of the Faculty of Engineering, PhD in Environmental Science and Technology, Islamzadeh Rahila, participated in the meeting of the International R&D project, which was launched with the support of AGROBIGEN at the ‘Akhmet Baitursynuly Kostanay Regional University’ in the Kostanay region of Kazakhstan on 24.11.2024-08.12.2024, on the topic ‘Productivity potential of Chernozem soils of the Kostanay region of Kazakhstan, physical, chemical, biological properties of soils and nutrient composition, fertilization strategies to be applied from soil and leaves’, in which Kazakhstan, Turkiye and Azerbaijan are allies. During this period, the analysis of the Chernozem soils of the Kostanay region, the evaluation of the analysis results and the discussion of the analysis results were carried out with the Professors of Ondokuz Mayis University of Turkiye, Prof. Ridvan Kizilkaya and Prof. Izzet Akcha within the framework of the project. During the 2-week meeting, the project results were processed into an article, and the article titled ‘Sustainable nutrient management and agricultural productivity in Chernozem soils of the Kostanay Region, Kazakhstan’ was sent to the SCOPUS-based ‘Eurasian Journal of Soil Science’.
