Associate professor Osman Hajiyev, director of the Teaching Methodological Center, followed with a speech detailing recent training sessions at the university related to information technologies. He particularly focused on the importance of the peer-to-peer learning mechanism in contemporary educational practices. Aygun Tagiyeva, senior lecturer in the same department, then provided an in-depth presentation on the role of digital educational platforms in education. She explained how these platforms integrate interactive and entertaining elements to enhance the learning experience. A.Tagiyeva also discussed the advantages of popular digital tools and their broader application in educational settings. Konul Aliyeva, a teacher in the department, introduced the “Cisco Packet Tracer” program and demonstrated its application through an example video. Participants also had the opportunity to engage with virtual laboratories, where students showcased their laboratory work. In the latter part of the training, senior lecturer Vusala Suleymanova demonstrated how gamification elements could be applied using the Kahoot! platform. She explained the platform’s features, illustrating how learning through games can be both effective and enjoyable with practical examples. The training concluded with participants actively engaging in the learning process, taking part in fun quizzes and interactive educational activities.
