On December 3, a training entitled “Career Opportunities in Tourism and Hospitality” was held at the joint initiative of “Premier Works” LLC and Sumgayit State University. The training was attended by Ali Hamza Babazadeh, founder and director of “Premier Works” LLC, Sura Rahbari, office manager of the company, graduates and students of the university. Ulker Velizade, an employee of the Career and Alumni affairs center, spoke about the importance of the training and the role that the tourism sector plays in the economic, cultural and social life of the world. She noted that the purpose of the training is to help graduates and students integrate into the labor market in the tourism sector. She gave the floor to Ali Hamza Babazade, founder and director of “Premier Works” LLC, who has extensive experience in this field. Speaker Ali Hamza Babazadeh provided the participants with detailed information about the operating principles of the company he leads, the current labor market in the hotels, tourism and hospitality sectors. He also spoke about career opportunities, salaries, working hours and other important issues for those who want to work in the tourism sector in Turkey and European countries, and answered questions from the participants. The speaker specifically emphasized the importance of students developing their language skills in order to succeed in this field. Then, Orkhan Samadzade and Latifa Ahmadova, who worked in the hotel sector in Turkey through Premier Works LLC, spoke about their hotel working experiences and work processes in Turkey.
