The seminar titled "Cybersecurity Skills Gap - Roadmap", organized by the Azerbaijan Cybersecurity Organizations Association (ACOA), took place on November 29 at the Great Assembly Hall of Sumgayit State University (SSU). The event addressed modern challenges in cybersecurity and aimed to encourage youth involvement in the field. Nasiba Amirbayova, director of the Career and Alumni affairs center, highlighted the event"s role in fostering active youth participation and acknowledged ACOA"s contributions to developing Azerbaijan"s cybersecurity ecosystem. Ahmad Ahmadzadeh, rector"s advisor, discussed the efforts to enhance cybersecurity infrastructure and emphasized the necessity of equipping young people with knowledge to counter digital threats and address contemporary challenges. Elgun Bakhtiyaroglu, founder of TEXIO Academy and ACOA expert, provided a detailed overview of the field’s strategic directions, its career prospects, and the importance of aligning skills with market demands. The event concluded with an interactive Q&A session, allowing participants to engage directly with the speaker on practical cybersecurity concerns.
