On November 27, a group of students from North Caucasus Federal University, visiting Sumgayit State University as part of the “Youth and Student Tourism” program, attended a lecture by Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Javanshir Mammadov. The lecture, titled “Introduction to Innovative Projects”, was part of the SSU Autumn School. Welcoming the guests, Professor Javanshir Mammadov highlighted SSU’s commitment to developing students into highly qualified specialists and supporting them in building successful careers. He introduced the SABAH.HUB platform, which assists students in Azerbaijan in launching their own businesses. The platform comprises several components, including SABAH.academy, SABAH.INCUBATION, and SABAH.LAB. Professor Mammadov also discussed the achievements of SSU’s startups, which stood out among the 18 teams representing the country. He provided details about the Power of Tomorrow project and its successes. Additionally, he noted that partnerships with industrial enterprises enhance educational programs, offering students opportunities for hands-on industrial experience and career development within these companies. Emphasizing the importance of innovation, Professor Mammadov highlighted the university’s efforts to improve the quality of inclusive education. He also mentioned ongoing projects, including the development of robots designed to support these initiatives. At the end of the event, students’ questions were addressed, providing further insights into the topics discussed.
