On November 27, an information session was held at Sumgayit State University (SSU) regarding the grant competition themed “Digital,” organized by the Azerbaijan Youth Foundation. The event began with the playing of the National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan, followed by a moment of silence to honor the memory of the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the territorial integrity of our country. Next, Banovsha Gasimova, a representative of the Azerbaijan Youth Foundation, provided an in-depth overview of the foundation’s activities and its various projects. She also delivered a comprehensive presentation on the “Digital” grant competition. Ms. Gasimova highlighted that this is the first time the Azerbaijan Youth Foundation is launching a grant competition specifically focused on the digital field. The competition aims to support innovative initiatives and uncover the digital potential of young people aged 18-29. Applications must be submitted electronically, and the winning projects will be implemented over a three-month period.
The funding limits are as follows:
• Up to 5,000 AZN for individual projects.
• Up to 10,000 AZN for local projects by youth organizations.
• Up to 15,000 AZN for international projects.
Project proposals will be accepted until December 1. Following the presentation, students received detailed information about the competition, and their questions were addressed during the seminar.
