The 70th anniversary of Sumgayit State University scientific secretary, doctor of Chemical Sciences professor Mukhtar Samadov was celebrated. At the event, rector associate professor Rufat Azizov spoke about the professor"s scientific-pedagogical activity and his services in the public life of the university, emphasizing that he has gained great respect. Professor Mukhtar Samadov thanked for the high attention and value shown in his speech. Since 2017, the professor has been working as the Scientific Secretary of SSU. He is known for his long-term activity in the field of chemistry, he is the author of more than 160 scientific and methodical works. His works have been published in international prestigious journals. In 2017, by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, he was awarded the honorary title of "Honored teacher", and in 2023, he was awarded the scientific title of professor. We congratulate professor Mukhtar Samadov on his anniversary and wish him long life and good health.
