On October 24, "Career Week" was held under the organization of Sumgait State University and Sumgait State Technical College. The event was attended by representatives of enterprises, departments and organizations, as well as university professors and students. The event was opened by Elshad Abdullayev, vice-rector for Science and Innovations of the university, who spoke about the purpose and importance of "Career Week". He drew attention to the successful state projects implemented in recent years in the direction of the development of the labor market and the provision of youth employment in our country, and emphasized that the main goal of this event is to acquaint students and graduates with the country"s labor market and available career opportunities. Matanat Pirguliyeva, director of Sumgait State Technical College, emphasized the importance of the event for students who will have industrial experience. She also noted that such events play an important role in improving the professional knowledge and skills of young people and preparing them for their future careers. Vasif Aliyev, director of the Sumgait branch of Caspian Education Company, thanked the organizers for the event and emphasized that Sumgait State University has recently expanded its cooperation with state and private enterprises operating in the country in order to increase the employment level of students and graduates. At the same time, he noted that serious steps are being taken in the direction of securing employment and internships for students and graduates of the university. Rafig Suleymanov, director of the Human Resources and administrative affairs department of "ATS Food" LLC, made a speech and expressed his confidence that the training and experience programs that his company will implement together with SSU will be successful.More than 30 companies with their vacancies and internship programs participated in the ongoing exhibition with musical numbers of classical and modern works of Azerbaijani and foreign composers, accompanied by the artistic director Konul Bekirova, a string quartet composed of students of the Sumgait Music College under the Azerbaijan National Conservatory. "Career Week" successfully completed its work.
